Fabricated in a Green Wool Gabardine, This color is described as Robinhood green in a 1949 Audrey Jane newspaper add for a different suit that appears to have the same covered buttons. (That suit retailed for $55, a pretty penny for 1949- roughly $728.64 today using an inflation calculator)

Jacket is fully lined

No shoulder pads

Rounded Collar with notched lapels

Fastens with self covered buttons with nailhead centers through bound buttonholes

Fold over patch pockets on the chest and hips (Hip pockets with self button tabs)

Full length set in sleeves (original length extended by adding a new facing- see photos)

The 4 panel skirt is unlined

Fastens with a button on the waistband and a Talon metal zipper down the side seam

Fitted with darts in the front and back

Condition: Very good. 1/2" repair to the lining. Discoloration to the lining only on the right shoulder. (see photos) Freshly dry cleaned, arrives clean and ready to wear.
