1980s St John Knit Skirt Set
Likely dates to the early 80s
Fabricated in St. John’s signature “Santana” knit which is an 80/20 wool rayon blend
The color is a bit darker than in the winter light in the photos. The closest Pantone match is “Atlantic Deep”, but it’s still a little deeper/darker.
Two piece set includes a top and a matching skirt
The top features a two piece collar
Fastens with hidden buttons through a concealed placket an a hook and thread loop at the neck
Top Logo button at the neck is decorative.
Full length sleeves with french cuffs, which fasten with a snap and a Logo cufflink set.
Collar and cuffs arebacked in silk
The skirt is a full on style pencil skirt which elastic encased inside of the waistband.
