2.5” single needle hem

Maker: Unknown. No labels.

Condition: Good/Fair. I have made multiple repairs to the lace, leaving the tiny breaks un-repaired. The largest repair was at the wearer’s left shoulder, which i repaired and then covered with a period appropriate lace appliqué. The stays in the waist were hnging on by a thread so I restitched them in place. Multiple patched and repairs along the hem, with a few small tears remaining. Yellowing and a few spots remain after two soaks. The lace is fragile. See photos. Freshly hand soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready for gentle wear.
