Late 1960s to Early 70s Thai Silk Shirt Dress Duster Star of Siam, XS/S
Fabricated in hand woven thai silk (Bancock Silk Company)
Fully lined in a rayon satin. Interior seams clean finished with binding (even beneath the lining)
Rhinestone buttons fasten through bound buttonholes
Full length sleeves with single button cuffs
Pockets set into side seams.
Belt it and wear as a shirt dress or layer up and wear it as a duster.
Maker: Star of Siam
Condition: Good/Very good. There is one 3/8” fray to the back panel, patched inside and concealed by the lining. There was wear to the edges of the sleeve cuffs so I folded then under and hand stitched them down. See photos. Freshly hand soaked, arrives clean and ready to wear.
