Reworked 1930s Periwinkle Blue Silk and Lace Dress
Please note this dress had been reworked by a previous owner.
Fabricated in a periwinkle blue silk crepe de chine closest in color to Pantone’s Eventide. This fabric does appear to be original 1930s
Neck and sleeves are done in a nude lace. This lace is a modern addition.
Keyholes openings at each should with ties
Self sash hand stitched into the pintucks in the front and back.
Sleeves fasten with a snap on each cuff.
1” machine stitched hem (Not the original hem)
Maker: Unknown.
Condition: Good. Minor age spots and discoloration to the silk. See photos. I made 1 tiny mend next to the sleeve seam. There are a few scattered pin sized holes. A great dress for this season’s lawn parties. Arrives clean and ready to wear.
Measurements: The measurements below are the actual measurements of the garment. Please allow for ease. Whenever possible the best way to insure a good fit is by comparing the measurements to that of a similar garment in your closet.
