1970s Jill Richards Ruffle Wide Leg Pant Set Upcyled
Fabricated in a ruby red poly chiffon
Two piece set includes a separate top and pants
The collar features two layers of cascading ruffles ending at the waist.
The bodice only is lined in a synthetic.
The voluminous unlined sleeves, fasten with two snaps at the wrist and a ruffled cuff
Fastens with 4 hooks and bars at center front
The high rise wide leg pants are lined in a synthetic to bermuda length.
Fasten with an invisible Conceal brand zipper down center back with a hook and a thread loop (under the zipper tape) at the top.
Baby hem.
Maker: Jill Richards for Garfinkles (Washington, DC) .According to the Vintage Fashion Guild label resource, Richards was known as “Ruffles Richards” for her feminine clothing in luxe fabrics.
Condition: Very good. Please note, There was a stain on the pant lining that would not lift (and was visible under the top layer), so I hemmed the lining to bermuda length. There are a few light marks along the hem that did not lift. See photos. Freshly hand soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
