1940s Rayon Bow Print Sundress, Small
Fabricated in a rayon crepe de chine in black with a cream colored bow print
The strap are removable and attach with snaps
Gathers at center front bust
Princess seams for fit at front and back seams. Boning casings are stitched inside, but the boning has been removed. Can be easily added back if desired.
Shaped waist seam
Fastens down side seam with a Talon metal toothed zipper
Four panelled flared skirt with knife pleats at the center back
1.5” blind hem clean finished with rayon hem tape
raw/unfinished seams
Maker: unknown. No labels, possibly home sewn, but well made
Condition: Very good. Tiny spot of yellowing to bow print at armhole. Tiny repair to left seam at armhole. See photos. Freshly soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
