1970s Nicole Miller For PJ Walsh Fish Print Dress
If you’re a fan of Nicole Miller and her wonderful novelty prints, then you’re in for a treat with this early piece from Miller’s days at PJ Walsh.
Fabricated in 100% rayon challis with a wonderful novelty fish print and floral print at the center bodice panel
Trimmed in a contrasting 100% cotton trim
Skirt gathered into raised waist seam
Wide short sleeves with gently gathered sleeve caps
Fastens down center back with a coil zipper and a hook and thread loop at the top
1 3/4” blind hem
Maker: Nicole Miller For PJ Walsh. According to the Vintage Fashion Guild’s label resource, Nicole Miller was hired as the designer at PJ Walsh in 1976 and in 1982 bought the Walsh division with partner, Bud Konheim, changing the name to Nicole Miller in 1982.
Union Label: red white and blue ILGWU (1974-95)
