1950s Straw and Velvet Hat with Tassel Jan Leslie
Fabricated in a natural straw
Trimmed in a deep purple velvet with a red satin braided cord and a fab swet of tassels.
Grosgrain ribbon finishes te interior edges

Maker: Jan Leslie custom Design Jan Leslie hats were not cheap. In 1953 a similar Jan leslie retailed for $24 which is roughly $235 in today’s money.
Condition: Very good/Excellent. very clean looks to have been gently worn if at all.

21” circumference around inside band
about 6.5” x 8” across top
about 2.5” L on side with tassle and about 1 1/4” on opposite side
