1930s Printed Silk Bias Cut Dress with Jacket, S
Two piece set includes a jacket and dress
Fabricated in a floral printed silk charmeuse
Sleeves dress with darts at the front shoulders.
Keyhole opening at center back neck with a hook and eye at the top.
Binding on armholes and neck
Shaped waist seam raised at center front
Snaps down the side seam
Flared skirt with shaped princess seams in front starting at the high hip and in the back of the skirt.
The gorgeous jacket makes a great stand alone piece
Band collar with self scarf attached, snaps at center front of collar only
Dropped shoulders
Dramatic sleeves pleats over arm.
Maker: Unknown. No labels.
Condition: Good. There is a red pen mark on the front bodice that I have been unable to get out. The dress was full length but had a stain that had caused shatter to the silk, so it had been shortened as shown. See photos. Freshly hand soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
